Argent Building Services Qld (ABSQ) was founded as a partnership in 2012 by father and sons team, Jim, Les and Clyde Argent. This makes ABSQ sound young, but there’s over 60 years of experience behind us. Jim has been building throughout Brisbane since 1966, with Les since 1999 and Clyde from 2011. Our span across many decades means we have the ‘old school’ ingenuity for solving a problem, and the modern know-how and technology to make sure all regulations and requirements are met and exceeded. We have worked on jobs of varying size and difficulty; each job is unique and is given the same attention and due care regardless of size. ABSQ has worked across many facets of the building industry. Whilst our main area of expertise lies within the residential realm, we have worked in commercial builds, commercial fit-outs, insurance works, new builds, make safes and external works such as drainage and landscaping.
Utilising the Latest Technology Resources
Communication with our customers is fundamental to our success. By utilising project management software such as Buildertrend and Prime Ecosystem, ABSQ can provide up-to-date Gantt Charts for scheduling repairs and trades, and photographic updates of job progress to customers and insurers.
We start and finish jobs by taking 360° photos of each area and stitch them together using Magic Plan. Magic Plan allows us to capture precise details and work up plans and elevations of your property. When considering Additions or Alterations, this allows us to mark up proposed layouts for our customer to review and comprehend. Images are also stitched together to create interactive maps of a property using Matterport.
Detailed information can then be provided to our trades to ensure selection and design specifics such as tile layouts are clearly attached to work orders.
